I finally own a Herb Bruce trombone! I’ve always liked a little bit of sizzle to my lead sound, but this seems to blend better with the section and the band on lush arrangements. It plays so easy. I don’t really have to work so hard to play it, it projects well and gives great feedback too. Happy dance!
- I don’t have to work as hard, and it blends better with the band and sounds better to me behind the bell and I got great compliments from the fellow sitting next to me. He really likes it.
